The reason I created this blog is to help writers earn money from writing. I started my writing career fully in 2011 and I have not looked back since then. I started with article writing and moved to writing e-books and reports. Along the way, I dabbled into affiliate marketing and learnt how to blog and make money. Today, I will be talking about places where you can start your freelancing journey. A word of caution though, do not get stuck there! Once, you are confident with your writing skill, move on to establish yourself as a professional in the career.
The first place I will be talking about is Freelancer.com
I started my writing career on freelancer.com. I wrote articles for clients in different niches. This helped me to get the needed exposure to launch my writing career. Luckily enough, they have several payment method for international users like me. If you are a newbie looking forward to start your writing career, you can start from there and learn for sometime before you move on.
How much can you earn from the website
This is a difficult question to answer as your determination to work hard and succeed greatly contribute to your income. Actually, I advice my students not to look at what they earn at this level, but to learn all they could to improve their writing skill. If you are hardworking, you could earn between $100 – $500/month.
How will to collect your payment?
Like i said above, there are different kind of payment methods to suit everyone’s need. They have PayPal, Moneybookers (Skrill), Bank withdrawal, Payoneer etc. Because I am from a country where paypal is not available, I used the bank withdrawal method. My earnings were sent directly to my bank account. But as time goes on, i discovered that the bank charges is high and the time it takes for me to get the money is a bit long, I decided to try Payoneer. Payoneer is a very fast method of payment and the charges were minimal.
